Strongly recommend this book, it is very useful in providing regularly used phrases. It gives help to move on from the rigours of language rules to give useful sentences which will be used by Russian speakers. New words are learned and, used with any flashcard system, the book will improve anyone’s vocabulary. I recommend it’s daily use along with flashcards. For new learners the earlier beginner’s book is highly recommended.
