This was my first read from Kristina. I loved it. Good story, great vocabulary review. I think I’ve read and reread it dozens of times now. What I especially appreciate is the intelligent choice of words that are translated for you in the book. So many books that try to be similar translate words such as ‘но’-‘but’ but then leave untranslated much harder words. It’s as if they’re not even reading their own book. Not so with Kristina. You sense the hand of a real instructor at work.
