WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
WAYNE WALKER – USA
Again, another excellent reader by Kristina. I had never actually read this story in English. I had only seen old movie versions of it. So the nature of the journey around the world and the why of it was all new to me. Kristina always helps with the truly unusual words in the vocabulary of the story. I think I probably had more trouble wrapping my head around the main characters’ first name (Fileas) than I did with any of the Russian. I kept wondering if that was a Russian word I should know rather than a name.
I’m slow sometimes. ? But Fileas wasn’t and this book wasn’t. It’s the right level to read in a single sitting. Two thumbs up!
