LOOK INSIDE

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

MARIA CULMER – UK

Really enjoyed this. Although I knew the story, reading it in Russian made it even more fun. I knew what was coming but I still wanted to read and find out more about Phileas Fogg!! The language is a little more challenging, there are participles, but this is in line with the level being written for. This was about my level. I was able to read quite comfortably, but was challenged in places which is what you need in order to learn. Great book and would highly recommend!

JEFFREY HUME – Canada

The book is excellent! I enjoyed reading it very much. As is true for all the learning materiaIs you produce, it was invaluable in learning new vocabulary and the audio was great for improving listening skills. It was an excellent fit for my level of Russian and I would definitely recommend it to others studying Russian. It would be an invaluable teaching tool for them to own.

GERALD BADET – USA

I really enjoyed the book and the accompanying audio! Since I knew the original story and plot in my native language, I was able to learn the associated vocabulary in my target language (Russian) easily. This was made possible by the associated audio, in two different speed (slow and normal). My level allowed me to skip the slow Russian version, as the normal level is still slower than the regular Russian native speaker’s speed.
This book fits my level and is very convenient to listen to on the go as well.
I definitely would recommend this book and any other from a different level to all Russian learners. It greatly improved my listening skills and comprehension.

WAYNE WALKER – USA

Again, another excellent reader by Kristina. I had never actually read this story in English. I had only seen old movie versions of it. So the nature of the journey around the world and the why of it was all new to me. Kristina always helps with the truly unusual words in the vocabulary of the story. I think I probably had more trouble wrapping my head around the main characters’ first name (Fileas) than I did with any of the Russian. I kept wondering if that was a Russian word I should know rather than a name.

I’m slow sometimes. ?  But Fileas wasn’t and this book wasn’t. It’s the right level to read in a single sitting. Two thumbs up!
