LOOK INSIDE

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
JANNETTE – GERMANY
I really enjoyed reading “20.000 лье под водой”. I’ve already bought all the books but this one was the first to read. It helped me learn new vocabulary and it’s great that you can listen to it. Highly recommend it. Looking forward to reading the other books.
ARIELLE VASQUEZ – USA
I really like the book. It is very simple for me because I am more intermediate in Russian, but overall I think it’s a fantastic book that is simple enough to begin reading if you are A2 or so. I would definitely recommend this series and I look forward to being able to buy more!
B LUCAS – USA
This book was an effective way to drill new vocabulary, practice reading and comprehension. The transcripts have stress marks and the audio is great for listening. My vocabulary improved after multiple reading and listening sessions with this reader. The level of difficulty was as described. I buy all readers from Kristina.
STEVEN CHRISTOPHER PHILLIPS – USA
The book was edited to make it readable and yet interesting at the appropriate level. New vocabulary was presented in context which made it more memorable. The review questions at the end of the chapter aided in understanding and comprehension. I have re-read the book numerous times. There is a sense of accomplishment when you finish reading an entire book in Russian. I deeply appreciate the work Kristina put into this publication and I am grateful for the ‘boost’ I have received in my Russian education. Thank you!
LEANDRO INSUA – ARGENTINA
I had already read this story as a graded reader in French and it’s the first book I read in Russian. I’m happy to have bought it. I always gravitate towards graded readers that have an audiobook version so I can practice both my listening and reading at the same time.
CONNIE SWENSON – USA
I really liked the book, both the story, which I had always heard about but never read, and the way Kristina translated it. She had the various parts of the story in excellent sized parts. This reader wasn’t my first choice, but it ended up being very interesting and my favorite. As usual Kristina’s speaking voice is paced well. It is elementary level, but all levels will enjoy it.
JAMES MARTIN – UK
Excellent quality resources that have really helped me memorize new vocabulary. The font is clear and the choice of words highlighted appropriate. Also, it’s handy to have the audio in two different speeds. Overall, excellent value for money and I look forward to the next book to be published.
MARCO MORRA – ITALY
I liked this book very much, because I had already read it in my native language many years ago and reading it again in a Russian version has helped me very much in learning new words and expression. The story is very famous and enjoyable and not difficult to follow. I strongly suggest buying this book especially if you are a beginner learner A2 and want to read your first book in Russian.
VICTORIA PERRY – USA
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! This reader, like all that you produce, is of the highest quality. Using all of your materials helps me maintain my Russian years after leaving university. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their Russian. At the same time, you will be exposed to a classic piece of literature! Thank you so much!
JOHN BURNS – USA
I have been following Kristina for a long time, and 20000 Leagues Under the Sea was one of her first readers that I read. It definitely helped with both reading ability and learning new vocabulary. Words, phrases, and idioms which might be new to the reader are denoted in bold type and the definition/explanation is just below the text. Very handy! Listening skills are also improved by listening as you read. The combination of aural and visual presentation definitely helps me to comprehend and retain what I am studying. You can’t go wrong with any of Kristina’s Russian Readers. I highly recommend them.
